Mayes NYC believes in protecting our environment and contributes to this through using fabric fibers from sustainably sourced farms. It’s certified eco-responsible which is only awarded to products that have a significantly lower environmental impact through their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution, and disposal.

The fibers are fully biodegradable, use less water than conventional cotton and generic viscose, as well as containing a lower carbon footprint with up to 50% fewer emissions in comparison to their textile counterparts. Mayes NYC sources their fabrics worldwide, including Turkey and Italy, and uses only high-quality textiles for their collections. 75% of Mayes NYC’s base fabrics are sustainable.

100% of Mayes NYC production in New York City and they cut very small runs of inventory and pre-sell many of the best sellers to ensure that each garment is going to someone that loves it. Some garments have only 15 are ever made!
